A sustainable approach to all aspects of landscaping are always kept a top priority. Sustainably harvested timber, local stone and recycled products are always encouraged. Rainwater harvesting in addition to plants with low water requirements are also encouraged.
While we accept the individual needs of our clients, our philosophy is that hard-surfaced areas are best kept to a minimum; not only does this reduce the capital expense it reduces run-off and the carbon produced during transport and production. Areas that include paving and concreting should incorporate permeable sections, which generally results in a garden with many different surfaces and textures – a win for the client and for the environment.
